About Cammy J. Purper

Cammy J. Purper, Ph.D. , has worked in the field of early childhood education for over 30 years as a teacher, administrator, and university professor. During that time, she served as an infant and toddler teacher, a preschool teacher, and a preschool director. She also led a parent cooperative preschool and worked with children and families as a parent educator. For the past 16 years, she has worked with early childhood educators at the college level and held multiple leadership roles, including department chair and assistant dean. She is passionate about helping to prepare future early childhood educators and believes good leadership is a powerful force in any context.
