Mary Sciaraffa, Ph.D., is a professor in child and family studies at Eastern Kentucky University. She holds a master’s degree in human development and family studies from Texas Tech University and a doctorate degree in curriculum and instruction from Louisiana State University. She has taught within early childhood classrooms and served as an administrator at several campus based children’s centers. Her worked in various capacities with both young children and their families has allowed her to provide a unique perspective when educating adults.
