This video documents a field trip from the early learning center to the cafeteria at Merck Corporate Offices. The program worked closely with the company chef and nutritionist to identify ingredients that would be healthy and fun to use on pizzas. Nicole Feneli, a nutritionist, describes the benefits to the children; “I think really getting hands-on with the food is a benefit. Understanding how their food is prepared, makes children more engaged and more likely to try healthy foods.”
