Assessment data helps teachers chart the course, moment to moment, for each child’s growth and development. The data can open up communication between teachers and families about how to serve and inspire each child, and how to work together, with that goal. Incorporating assessment data gives teachers insight into providing opportunities to do practice what they can already do well, and guide them into new areas of learning.
