We live in divided times. We wake up each day in an increasingly frenetic, technology-focused world. It’s hard not to be inundated and frankly overwhelmed by all of the madness that seems to be going on across the globe. We are subjected to endless notifications, guerrilla marketing, 24-hour news cycles and have access to a constantly growing number of platforms via which people can reach us through direct messaging. Anymore, it takes an incredibly proactive effort to slow down, disconnect, and spend time engaged in our immediate surroundings and communities.
