Barbara Thornton, M.P.H., is a senior technical assistance specialist with Prevent Child Abuse"“New Jersey, providing support to Grow NJ Kids, New Jersey's quality rating improvement system. She has held administrative and teaching positions at various child care sites including corporate, faith-based, teen parent and family care. In addition to working in the early care and education field, Thornton holds a master's degree in public health/health education and a bachelor's degree in international environmental studies.
