About Christie Vanorsdale

Christie Vanorsdale is a doctoral student in the school of education at Duquesne University. She began working as an English as a Foreign Language teacher in Seoul, South Korea, in 2008 for pre-K through fifth grade learners of English. After completing her master’s at Duquesne, she returned to Seoul to work as a teacher educator for graduate students of EFL Education at Sookmyung Women’s University. She works as a research assistant and adjunct instructor at Duquesne. Her research interests include teacher education, instructional technology and facilitating socio-pragmatic competence in English language learners with technology.
