Ellen L. Olson is a program coordinator for the Child Care Resource and Referral Program and an educator for Cornell Cooperative Extension of Oneida County (CCEOC). A New York State credentialed trainer and Master Cadre trainer for the Pyramid Model, she holds a bachelor’s in psychology and a master’s in early childhood administration. Olson trains for the Child Care Council, CCE programs, and state early childhood agencies.
She participates in OC Project Thrive, providing resources to support communication, emotional literacy, coping skills, and healthy decision-making for students, teachers, and parents. Olson also writes the CCE Growing Up! blog and the So Empowered column for the Child Care Newsletter.
She lives with her wife and cat in Utica, New York.
