About Jeff McCulloch

Jeff McCulloch is a licensed clinical social worker who works as a mental health consultant in Head Start programs in the Pacific Northwest. He has been working in the mental health field for over ten years with children and families as both a therapist and consultant. McCulloch studied sociology with a focus on gender at Lewis and Clark College and has a master’s degree in social work from Portland State University. He is particularly interested in teaching gender and challenging gender stereotypes in the early childhood setting, working with puppets to teach social/emotional skills, and enjoys bringing mindfulness activities into the classroom. He is also a tired parent of three children and enjoys defying the boundaries of gender with his family.
