Lisa Parrish, M.Ed, is a Texas-certified teacher and adjunct instructor at Tarleton State University. For over 20 years she has been the director of a licensed home child care. Previously employed as an elementary principal and middle school teacher, she has presented at conferences, served on various boards, and been elected to city council. In 2022 Parrish became the first woman mayor of Keene, Texas.
