About Rudy Anderson
Rudy Anderson works for FHI360 as an ECE specialist for migrant and seasonal Head Start as a training and technical assistance provider in Arizona, California and Washington State. He is a certified family child care accreditation observer for NAFCC and certified observer and trainer for Classroom Assessment Scoring System. He worked as Head Start director for 22 years, in both regular and MSHS programs. For most of his career Anderson worked in administrative positions with parent policy councils, boards of directors and with elected officials on local, state and national levels, but his first love is still in the classroom working with teachers and their small charges. He holds a master’s of science in ECE, and has over 40 years of ECE experience, starting as a preschool teacher in 1975. Anderson is planning to retire in June of this year. He has been married 46 years, has six sons, two daughters and 12 grandchildren. He and his wife live in Salem, Utah.
