About Ruth Wilson (Edit profile)

Ruth Wilson, Ph.D., has been an educator and teacher educator for over 30 years and has devoted most of her career to connecting young children with nature. She currently works as curator for the Children & Nature Network Research Library, an online resource of scientific literature relating to children and nature. She also serves as a consulting editor for the International Journal of Early Childhood Environmental Education. Wilson has several published books including “Learning is in Bloom” and “Nature and Young Children.” Wilson lives in Elephant Butte, New Mexico, where she enjoys hiking in the land of enchantment.
