About Toshiba Adams (Edit profile)

Toshiba Adams, Ph.D., serves as a full-time instructor and instructional chair of early childhood education at Milwaukee Area Technical College. Her research and teaching focus includes examining the relationship between structural inequalities and a child's growth and development; school desegregation; and Critical Race Theory. From 1998-2008, Adams served as the founder and co-owner of an NAEYC-accredited early childhood education center.
