Playing and Learning Together
When we treat children’s play as seriously as it deserves, we are helping them to feel the joy that’s to be found in the creative spirit.
– Fred Rogers
Play is at the core of how infants and toddlers explore, learn, and grow. From their earliest moments, everything they do to make sense of the world is a form of play. Without words, they ask questions, seek answers, and find joy in discovery.
As early childhood educators, we have a choice: observe the wonder unfolding or step into it and engage alongside them. This engagement is not only rewarding but also an essential component of their development.
