Julie Bisson and Sarah Felstiner sent the following note: “At Epiphany Early Learning we recently had a banned book display as part of the Teach Truth Day of Action and Margie encouraged us to share the story with you.”

Here’s a small piece of their story:

“For the Teach Truth Day of Action this year, our school celebrated our Anti-Bias Book Library with a display for families, children, and teachers to engage with. The display included many books from our own library that we use regularly with children, and that have been banned in various states across the US. These are high-quality stories that children love, and that teachers rely on to lean into our responsibility to help them become compassionate citizens in a diverse world.”
