Children who have hurt other children should not be labeled or isolated, but given an opportunity to learn about how each person’s choice of behavior affects others. Children can be empowered to nurture one another, to generate solutions, and to make a difference, and use their skills for good. Hurtful behavior creates a situation in which both children have unmet needs, and there is an opportunity to build skills.
