About Arlene Rider
Arlene Rider, Ph.D. is a retired State University of New York: Empire State College professor. She has been involved for over 40 years in the early childhood and afterschool field. In addition, she has spent 20 years with NYS Network for Youth Success and continues to be an instructor, advisor, and endorser for the New York State school age child care credential. Together, Galuski and Rider co-authored "Schools Out: Challenges and Solutions for School-Age Programs," which was published by Gryphon House in 2020.
