About Beth Heimann

Beth Heimann's job title is positively guaranteed to provoke questions. She is the cultivator of curiosity for bloom! (a principle-based teacher education initiative supported by grants from the Dekko Foundation). Heimann goes to work each day to demonstrate and exemplify the principles of child development. She inspires and empowers teachers to think, question, research, and discover the complexities of young children and the joy of meeting their needs. Heimann's 10 years of experience teaching in preschool and kindergarten classrooms and a master's from Purdue University Fort Wayne set her up to understand teachers' challenges in both authentic and theoretical ways. Heimann and her husband have their own early childhood initiative at home-two very busy and energetic boys under age six. In her spare time (who are we kidding here,) she likes to read mysteries and solve puzzles of all kinds.
