About Jennifer Lehnertz

Jennifer Lehnertz grew up in Brooklyn, New York and now lives in Manassas, Virginia with her husband, David. She has two adult children, Elizabeth, and Luke.

Lehnertz is the author of the children’s book “The Roly-Poly Princess” and has worked in ECE for 30 years. She has been a resource teacher, a coordinating teacher, a pedagogista, an assistant director of education, a director, a board member and two term president for the Prince William Association for the Education of Young Children, a board member of Smart Beginnings Greater Prince William County, a mentor for the Virginia Star Quality Initiative and a professional storyteller.

She now works as a teacher at the House of Representatives Early Childhood Center.
