About Jennifer Moore (Edit profile)

Jennifer Moore has a degree in international development from the University of Guelph and a bachelor’s of education from York University. After working for World Vision for a number of years, she joined the Hamilton-Wentworth District School Board in 2007 as an elementary school teacher. She has gone on to earn her specialist credentials in reading and special education, and has taken additional courses to support her passion for play-based, inquiry-inspired kindergarten. Moore believes strongly in the value of community and loves to work where she lives in Dundas, Ontario, with her amazing husband, fantastic kids, pet chickens, honey bees and high-maintenance cat.
