About Priyanka Handa Ram

Priyanka Handa Ram is a graduate from the University of Oxford, a social entrepreneur and educational consultant. She is the founder/director of five early childhood organisations in Botswana including Learn To Play, a community development organization that transforms lives through play. Over the last few years, she has been working on developing the Rainbow Play Approach, a unique framework for holistic early learning. Handa Ram is passionate about play, nature and literacy and incorporates these values in her work as well as in her role as a published children’s author. She was recently the recipient of the ChangeMaker of Botswana award for her work in Education. Handa Ram is also a Global Leader for Young Children through the World Forum Foundation, and has been a invited speaker at the Africa Early Childhood Network Conference in Kenya, Africa Play in South Africa and at the upcoming World Forum for Early Childhood Care and Education, in Macao. But most importantly, according to her, she’s the mum of two wonderful children.
