About Randi Albertsen
Randi Albertsen has a bachelor’s degree in early childhood education from the University of Maryland, College Park, and a master’s in business administration from Loyola University in Maryland. Albertsen has worked in early childhood settings for over 30 years. Her experience ranges from school age care group leader, child care center senior staff, family child care provider, and public-school Kindergarten and third grade teacher. Albertsen owns Innovations in Education, LLC. Her company provides training and consulting services to the early childhood community with a focus on implementing research-based practices in early childhood settings. Albertsen is also a curriculum developer and serves as a coach and mentor to providers and program administrators. She has served on many state and local committees in Maryland to support young children, families, and educators. As a former adjunct faculty member of Howard Community College, lecturer at the University of Maryland, College Park, and professional development specialist, Albertsen helps to prepare future teachers for success in the early childhood field.
