About Sarah McCarty Petz

Sarah McCarty Petz is an early childhood education teacher at Inspire Elementary in Denver, Colorado. She received her bachelor's in elementary education and her master's in education and human development from CU Denver, in partnership with the Boulder Journey School. Her teaching style is centered around strong student-teacher relationships, cultivating the whole child through social-emotional wellness and thinking critically with mind and heart. She is interested in LGBTQ+ advocacy and inclusion, and learning more about outdoor teaching and nature experiences with children.
