About Suzanne Sterling
Suzanne Sterling is from the N’lakap’mx Nation through her father John Sterling and Sto:Lo Nation through her mother Marsha Sterling. She is a mother to three beautiful children: Brittani, Darian, and Spencer, whom are her number one joy in life! She is the Owner of her consulting company, Godey Creek Consulting; a part time instructor at NVIT for the Early Childhood Development program; and currently the Aboriginal Early Childhood Consultant for the Ministry of Children and Families for the Interior Region. She is very passionate about Early Childhood Development and promoting the quality of life for children and youth to ensure the best chance with life. She is currently President of the Rotary Club of Merritt Sunrise; President of Nicola Family Therapy; Treasurer for the BC Aboriginal Child Care Society; Board Member of the Aboriginal Steering Committee for the Human Early Learning Partnership Research Team at UBC; and recently was appointed to the Provincial Child Care Council.
