About Terri Jo Swim

Terri Jo Swim is a professor of early childhood education at Purdue University in Fort Wayne, Indiana. She is the author of “Infants and Toddlers: Caregiving and Responsive Curriculum Development” (9th ed.). In addition, she has published articles on child development, curriculum, and teacher preparation. She earned her bachelor’s degree at Purdue University, West Lafayette, Indiana, and her doctorate from the University of Texas at Austin.
