About Roxana Linares

Roxana Linares, M.A., served as the executive director of Centro Tyrone Guzman from 2009 until her retirement in June 2023. She first joined the center in 2001 as a CURA intern, and was later appointed director of the education department. Before moving to Minnesota, Linares taught science at the International School of Tintaya in Peru for 5 years, and later served as assistant director for the school for 10 years. She had a master’s degree in educational policy and administration, with a focus on comparative and international education, from the University of Minnesota. She passed way on August 26th, 2023.
