Mery Jose António is a World Forum Foundation global leader for early childhood development and faculty at Pedagogic University of Maputo. She holds master’s degrees in psychology, project management, and sustainable development, and gender and development, and is a Ph.D. candidate on educational psychology with a focus on ECD, parenting and child development. António is founder of the Gender and Child Studies Center and co-founder of the bi-annual national ECD conference and the Fair of Play. She is also a consultant for the African Early Childhood Development Network.
